Jennifer Joas is an award winning journalist who has worked for 10 years as a general assignment reporter for NBC Connecticut in West Hartford, CT.
Prior to coming to NBC Connecticut, she reported for two years at WFMZ-TV in Reading, Pennsylvania and three years in North Dakota at KFYR-TV & KUMV-TV.
During her time in North Dakota, Jennifer produced and anchored a one-hour oil special that won her two first place Eric Sevareid Awards through the Northwest Broadcast News Association.
Jennifer grew up in southern New Jersey and previously interned at CBS 3 Eyewitness News in Philadelphia and WMGM-TV in Atlantic City.
Jennifer graduated magna cum laude from Hofstra University with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism.
